Mr. Robinson is on BREAK (but you can still 'chat' with him if you want!)
This week, you have NO REQUIRED tasks. But you do have two OPTIONAL tasks. One is for fun, one is for extra credit.
Option 1 - For Fun
Memorize as many elements as you can by the end of the week. Each day in the calendar section of this site, you will find a new blank periodic table. I'll include one here as well. You can practice as much as you like. See how many element abbreviations you can fill in (correctly!) by the end of the week.
Option 2- Extra Credit (3rd Quarter)
See the document below for more details. You will pick any element you like (1-86) and research it deeply. Using the data organizer provided, produce a one-page VISUAL display of all the information you gathered about your element and either email it to me or upload it here. If you do it by hand, please send me a quality photo and make it clear that it was YOUR work. If you do it on a computer, please send me the file, but also make it clear that it was YOUR work. Notice the requirement that you list any sources you use. Scores will be adjusted for a total possible of 15 EC points to be added as a lab grade.
Pick an element you like, pick one you are curious about, or even one you've never really heard of. All for extra credit - enjoy!
