According to state law, students may receive medications at school under very specific conditions. School personnel are unable to give your child medication until the requirements listed here are met.
1. The school will need a medication authorization form. For students with asthma, a special form is needed.

2. The medication must be clearly marked:
- in its original container
- with the student’s name
- the dose
- the time the medication should be given
3. The medication must be brought to school by the parent or other responsible adult.
